can you see what I see?

Getting organized in my "new house" of 2 1/2 years is a continual work. Recently a friend was sharing about her house evaluation by a professional organizer. One tip she shared with me is the key to having a clean sink is to always have it empty! What I said? How can I keep it empty with four kids who are always eating and dirtying dishes and cups throughout the day?
The key she said is to have a tray or bucket to catch all those cups or miscellaneous things that can't go in the dishwasher (or if in fact all the dishes in the dishwasher are clean and just waiting to be removed!). So I dug out my beautiful antique tray that is white and outlined in blue. There it now sits to collect all those things that used to clutter the sink. And when I find the tray is full it is time to do a little dishes. Which child has dish duty today?
And just to make things more beautiful I hung a present I got from another catechist. Can you see that dishtowel. Yes it has the Good Shepherd on it.

He seems to be very happy there near the Kitchen Madonna.
