Workboxes part 1

This week I put an experiment card set in a workbox for a 7 year old. I never heard anything about it, but noticed that she had pulled her "I'm finished" picture (more on this later).
Today when loading photos from the week I found this set. Now I know she got "static electricity" experiment.

The counter with her required materials.

the bowl with salt and pepper mixed together.

a spoon that she had been rubbing against the dish towel.

a close up of the pepper and salt sticking and being attracted to the spoon.
I am very impressed. What a great way to document finished work. I might just have to put the camera in workbox with the next experiment card set!

Wonder is not a force that pushes us passively from behind; it is situated ahead of us with irresistible force toward the object of our astonishment; it makes us advance toward it, filled with enchantment.

The world will never starve for want of wonders, but for want of wonder.
