Disclaimer: my husband took all these photos. They are not so great. They were with his iphone as he ran through the house.
But the best part is that they are still on my computer! A little over six months ago I was eagerly waiting baby #6's arrival. It was a hot summer. Very hot in fact. I was huge. Just huge. (see photo below!) And miserable. I did everything in my power to keep a smile, but I was really cranky to my husband. I wasn't able to count my blessings. So he ran through the house one day taking photos of all the things I we had accomplished in anticipation of baby.
This can be the case in Lent as well. So as we head into Holy Week 2013 I thought it might be good for me once again to see all the thing accomplished. To see the positive.
The floor is visible in the laundry room.
There is a new dishwasher.
Happy dog. Any time of the day or night. Happy to greet you.
Will you take me for a walk?
The Trinity is here.
(it was the Assumption and a Baptismal feast day...roses).
Now it's the Annunciation!
Baby bassinet is up and ready. Tubs in attic are labeled and not overflowing.
Books are organized on shelves in the library.
See I told you I was huge. And cleaning up the music basket.
Even the garage was tidy!
And the work room outside was walkable.
School room was usable.
Shoe shelf rack was ALL matched. And there were SANDALS on it.
Today, Palm Sunday, we had snow. I had to grant permission to the kids to retrieve their snowboots and snow pants from the attic where I had put them three days ago....
Yes, I'm finding joy in this last week of Lent.
