A friend of mine has been posting her aquarium photos on facebook...and it was time to really take a look IRL. 
and we were amazed! at the species that we were able to see up so close.
anemones, shrimp, starfish, clownfish, coral....
this cute little worm that pulled in it's feelers when it got scared.
even an eel that was willing to come out of hiding for a sardine.
Once we got back home we got out our nature journals and drew what we could remember.
I think the kids did a great job!
