Benedictine Colleges

We visited the first Benedictine College in the U.S. last month. We were on a family cross country trip and decided to visit the Universities and Colleges that were on our way.

Meet St. Vincent College.

The students and people were very friendly. We saw monks in habit strolling around.

The church was impressive. And we wished we had planned an "official" tour. But we got a good glimpse of the feel and stature of what is available on campus.

It's hard to believe we are a few steps away from having a college student. She would be welcome today at our community college, but the jump to living on a campus with others seems to huge to me.

Wonder at the things that are before thee making this the first step toward further knowledge.
