Understanding the Parables

When I first learned about Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, I heard about these "32 characteristics".

Characteristic #25 says that the Catechist makes the materials by her own hands in order to absorb the materials more deeply.

And this has been the case with the Parables for me.

I am currently wondering on the parable of the 10 bridesmaids.

Wonder at the things that are before thee making this the first step toward further knowledge.
