So what a day! I wonder what the children will remember when they are grown. Will they remember our stories about JP2? The times we were able to see him in person? The blessing his life gave the world?
In order to celebrate a Baptism anniversary, a beatification, Divine Mercy and St. Joseph, we stayed in our own town on a Sunday! Will the children remember being restful at home?

We tweeked the recipe a little. Vanilla Icecream with whipped topping and two colors of sprinkles for the blood and water topped with a heart shaped strawberry. Next year we will also add slivered almonds.
