Some might say this summer has been full of outings. They've continued to be fairly local ones. Simple pleasures and memory making. Sharing time with family.
We camped out overnight in our large tent in the woods by the lake at an uncles farm.
A clearing near the lake surrounded by trees hides the corn that is farmed. A few steps away you can find a lake that slides up to the river.
We cooked over an open fire.
...why does it make food taste so good?
Rides on tractors, backhoes,
and four wheelers made the trip well rounded.
Little guy was pretty proud of himself finding the doggie door on the tent.
He used it successfully.
Camping on the farm wouldn't be complete without a little foot racing,
spooking,
and jolly making.
