Summer is for field trips

During our homeschooling year, I have great desires to let the children create opportunities for field trips for themselves. But the years just get away from me. There are a huge variety of things available to us nearby, but the getting there sometimes takes a lot of work!

This summer I packed in a field trip or two each week to make up for it!

A one room school house.

A historic museum with lots of engines of different kinds.

An airplane hangar.

The Coast Guard.

Air National Guard.

We also visited some parks and farms with no photos to jog our memories.
