simplicity

We are a low media family.  We don't have the TV on in the background.  We don't have the computers with free access at all times.  The iPad is mainly used for reading books...

But I do play lots of music.  Mainly classical or the composer we are currently studying.  We do find music that encourages pre-reading and pre-math understanding to be helpful.

One CD called, Sounds Like Fun, that I have owned for 14 years is still being played!  Today I found some videos made by the composer of this CD.  They are very low tech!  I like that!  You might enjoy these too.

I've been thinking about early Math and early Reading lessons lately and how much it begins before they are even school age!
